  18.   Thanks to all those that replied to my question on animation
  19.   of Mechs. I have a three pronged claw opening and closing
  20.   without problems. Now that I see it work it is much clearer.
  21.   LW while easy is not as clear to the novice as it could be.
  22.   I loaded the objects back into Imagine and renamed the
  23.   various parts to something more meaningfull before I
  24.   Converted it to LW format. This made Dealing with all
  25.   the surfaces easier. I miss the grouping and hierarchy
  26.   but like the selection capabilities surfaces offer. It's
  27.   the small things like turning off normals in the display 
  28.   options and the like that are not apparent to the new user.
